Towards Equity, SFU Public Square’s 2021 Community Summit was an event series that took place in-person and online throughout the year. The events shared a unifying focus on positive action and knowledge mobilization to create a more just, equitable, and sustainable future.

Traditionally, an external design agency was hired to create a unique visual identity for each year. However, some less-than-popular concepts from the previous year's summit afforded me the opportunity to develop 2021's look and feel solo and in-house.
While the style has long since hit peak popularity, it seemed to strike exactly the right tone at the time: a sense of forward movement, a sprinkle of zine and a modern vibe.
